We were lucky enough to receive a wedding invitation to the daughter of our best friends who now live in Austraila. The wedding was to be held on safari in South Africa, so with camera in hand we jumped at the chance.

What an amazing country, we spent time in Johannesburg learning about it’s history, spent a day with a local guide who used to be a newspaper photographer during the end of aparthied, and visited a Soweto township Kliptown.

We then moved on to Safari where we saw Lions, Giraffe, Rhinos, Elephants, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hippo and a host of other wildlife, which if you forgive me I wont mention the Game Reserve due to poaching.
